wonderful close up, I like the "alternative" mood in this photo, to focus on a detail and not where we usually look when we look a rose.

I have to get to the botanical garden. It is such a lovely place. I heard that they limit where and when and what type of photos you take though, is that true? I wouldn't want to schlep all my stuff there only to be told I can't use it.

@Laurie: well i've only been to the garden across the street from my school in the bronx and i've never had a problem with taking pictures there. that being said, i also don't have a lot stuff to schlep. just a camera, no lenses, or a tripod.

I forgot to mention the focus on this photo makes it quite interesting. I may have tried it without even the tip of the leaf in focus and have everything in soft focus.
